Check out our Alexa rank! This is the Alexa rank for climber.com. We are breaking into the top 50,000 websites online. All the hard work is starting payoff. Yesterday, we registered 3,800 new members!
I have enjoyed reading through your blog. I am also in startup mode and working with the SCORE folks for assistance with the VC process. I have been in business for quite some time though and have built a solid reputation along with past performance. The reason I say startup is because I have kept my Information Technology Consulting practice small and forming teams on a project by project basis. But now that I have a solid track record I know the time is right to form a management team to take the business to the next level. To accomplish that I am looking at the investment community to assist. Your comments on your experience with the VC community have confirmed a few things I have heard. As fellow San Diegan's I look forward to your success in your venture!
Any one in particular that I could approach? The SCORE folks are okay but they can only do so much. I have questions regarding the VC process and what it takes to get buy in. Would like to speak with some of these great folks in the VC community that understand my business.
